Independence Day Firework Tag

4th July is an American Holiday for Independence Day! Why not add an American touch to any tag your making as seen below.

Handmade By Michelle Johnson

Things you will Need:

Diecut Card Shape Large White Tag S57324

Loom Bands
Yellow Alcohol Marker
Scissors
Ink Pad
Building Stamp
Bottle Cap / Circular Lid.

Instructions:

Stamp the buildings directly onto the tag. Once dry, cover with the double sided adhesive and trim off the edges. Peel off the top exposing the second side of the adhesive. Using the masking sheet cut an outline of the buildings in order to not cover them with the foils.Once this is done, use the transfer foil. Remember to place the dull side down and to use a bottle cap or lid of some sort to create the firework circles. Add little spark flicks with your finger nail or closed scissors for that extra effect.

Remove the masking sheet and add the iridescent glitter to the rest of the exposed adhesive sheet giving that wonderful shimmering effect. Re-pierce the tag hole. With the yellow alcohol marker colour in some of the building windows to add to the night sky effect.

A loom kit creates a fantastic red, white and blue band, adding that American touch.
